For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater College, I was a kindergarten teacher at a private school where I found my passion for teaching. I continued my education at McDaniel College, where I received my Master’s degree in Elementary Education and became a Maryland State Certified teacher for Pre-K through sixth grade. I taught kindergarten for three years and third grade for one. While teaching, I became Team Leader of both grades, I was nominated for Teacher of the Year in my county, and I was selected for a state-wide curriculum development team. My teaching style is diverse, and my lesson plans are created to help all academic levels of students, from those with Individual Education Plans to those in Gifted and Talented Programs.

I have since left teaching full time to raise my three beautiful babies, but I love to keep myself in the education field by being a Home and Hospital Teacher for Harford County and by tutoring/coaching through Baltimore Family Therapy. This allows me to create lessons that focus on helping students reach their full potential, build confidence, meet goals, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!
